Professor Emeritus Richard L. Morrill passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024. He had been ill for several years and passed away with his wife and best friend at his bedside. Dick was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1935. He received his B.A. in Geography from Dartmouth College in 1955. He moved to the University of Washington in Seattle that year to pursue a Master’s degree under Edward Ullman.
